Eaton Mews South , Belgravia

Eaton Mews South is quite a long street (as mews go). It runs either side of Eccleston Street.
The east section on the south side is back-to-back with Chester Square's houses.
There are some garages and there are some small houses on either side.
Some of them have flat roofs above first floor level, which have been turned into terraces. Some retain their plain brick facades and some have been painted.
Some of the houses are conversions but some new mews houses have also been built.
Octagon have built some luxurious new homes while retaining original Victorian façades.
The street takes its name from Eaton Hall in Cheshire, the ancestral estate of the Grosvenor family.
